Founded in 2023 and based in Rwanda, at Ampere Vision Rwanda we harness the power of machine vision and AI to revolutionize agriculture. Our mission is to make farming smarter, more efficient, and environmentally sustainable. By integrating advanced image recognition technology into irrigation and pesticide spraying systems, we help farmers make data-driven decisions that conserve resources and maximize crop yield.
Our Story
Our journey began in March 2022, when our founder, during his industrial attachment at Ideal Vision Integration SDN BHD, worked on a machine vision-based temperature kiosk. Upon returning home, he witnessed firsthand how pests and inefficient irrigation were causing massive pre-harvest losses, doubling the cost of essential foods like rice and potatoes. Through surveys and research with local farmers, it became clear, a machine vision-based agriculture drone could transform farming reducing losses, optimizing input use, and making food more affordable. From this realization, our mission took flight.
